NAMPA, IDAHO–With its growing reputation as an NPCA Certified Plant and in an effort to meet the growing demand for quality precast products, Idaho Precast Inc. began the construction of its manufacturing warehouse expansion on February 17, 2014.
The current site contains 6.8 acres with production and administrative space of 8,000 square feet. The expansion will provide the business with an additional 3,200 square feet of much needed production area. The expansion area will duplicate current building materials to include expansion of the overhead crane and hydronic floor system for curing product. Additional site improvements began last December where additional land was cleared and a fence installed to increase the total product inventory area.
Idaho Precast was established in 1983 and moved from its previous location in Boise to the current site in 2002. The current building was completed at that time with its first building expansion completed in 2009. The first expansion focused on the construction of a new concrete batch plant to increase product quality and production capacity.
The construction is set to be completed by May 1, 2014.
