About Us

storefrontIdaho Precast Concrete opened its doors in Boise Idaho in 1983.  Focused on serving southwest Idaho with quality precast concrete products, the company continuously grew in production and reputation and in 1993, Idaho Precast Concrete was purchased by local business partners Donald R. (Zip) Zanders and Gabrielle Miller.

In 2002, after years of increasing precast concrete products and experiencing substantial growth in its customer base, Idaho Precast Concrete relocated its facilities from Boise, Idaho to Nampa, Idaho.  Ideally located off of Interstate 84 and Franklin Road, the new facility offered 6.8 acres of land and the construction of a new manufacturing warehouse and offices.  The additional land area provided critical space to hold higher levels of precast inventory and the manufacturing warehouse increased efficiency and daily production in an effort to meet the increasing needs of large customers such as Idaho Power.

In 2009, Idaho Precast Concrete expanded its manufacturing facilities to include a concrete batch plant.  This visionary decision allowed the company to increase production while maintaining its commitment to quality.  The batch plant has since been certified by the National Precast Concrete Association, one of only four NPCA Certified plants in Idaho.  Under this designation, Idaho Precast Concrete products are manufactured under the highest of standards for plant facilities, production operations, and quality control procedures.

In 2011, the company purchased the assets and operations of long time competitor Boise Vault and Precast. This acquisition positioned the company to increase its market share in precast concrete manhole, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer products.  With this purchase, the company reorganized and changed its name to Idaho Precast Inc.

Based on the historical growth of the company and with a commitment to become the single source for precast concrete products in Idaho, Idaho Precast Inc. expanded its manufacturing warehouse again in early 2014.  This expansion created an additional thirty five percent of production space and the ability for the company to continue its thirty year history of providing top quality precast concrete products and exceptional customer service.
